C & M - A Dublin City wedding party!
When you have an epic Vegas wedding, then it only seems right to have a big celebration back home in Dublin!
My first blog of 2020. So far this year has proven to be challenging for everybody on the planet so today I thought I’d shed a little light from my little corner . :)
Last month I got to photograph a feb wedding party of C&M. These two had previously gotten married in Vegas with not one but two ceremonies! So I was delighted to be asked to photograph their Dublin celebration.
It started out with some prep at Benefit Ireland before strolling through town with a quick ride on the Luas before heading to the Dean hotel.
So without further ado, here are my highlights from that day!

Couple shoot / Just Us / Engagement Shoots / Pre wedding Shoots - They all intend to have the same results. To not only have some beautiful keepsake memories to treasure from this exciting time in your lives before you stand in front of your loved ones and declare your love for each other, but to also get comfortable with your photographer!
As your photographer, I am probably one of the few people who is with you all day, witnessing so many moments and being really attentive to what’s happening. So it’s really important to me that the couple is comfortable, happy and heard! It’s so important that you have someone on the day who really cares about you and your day!
Back to recently when I met up with L & E in Dun Laoghaire for their mini E-shoot and from the minute I met them, I knew we were going to get on amazingly on their wedding day! I can’t wait to shoot their day tomorrow! Keep an eye out for a future blog!

A Beautifully Colourful Dublin City shoot!
When H got in touch with me through Instagram wondering if I would do an extended couple shoot in Dublin City I was super excited! I love shooting in Dublin City and getting the chance to stroll through the city and then out to a nearby park and beach to get a variety of portraits with outfit changes? Yes please!
We had so much fun strolling and chatting over several hours though the city before I drove them out to nearby St Anne’s Park and Dollymount Strand. I love that my job enables me to meet so many fantastic people from all over the world and hear their stores :)

I loved that these guys booked me for their engagement session two days before it! They were hoping for that golden light near sunset vibe and wow, did we get it!
It was a dull Sunday all day so I didn’t have much hope but the weather Gods had other ideas and they sure did deliver!
A & C and their gorgeous dog Sasha joined us on a little hike up Killiney Hill where we watched the sunset over Dublin Bay. We had so much fun chatting about life and their own plans for the wedding next year!

It started with an Instagram DM...
When Leanda got in touch with me through Instagram about a shoot while on their visit from the US, I was super excited. She mentioned maybe capturing some street art so immediately I thought of Smithfield. It’s a vibrant spot with some amazing street art!
As soon as I met the girls, I knew we were on the same page. We got on a like a house on fire and ended up spending over three hours together, chatting, walking and grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat. It was such fun day and I would happily have hung out with them for the rest of the evening. Always a sign of a great day!

J & L - Competition winners recreate their special day in Brooklodge
A beautiful intimate shoot between two newly weds in Wicklow!
A while back, we ran a competition on instagram for a "love shoot", it could have been with anyone, or any-thing, if desired! Laura was one of the lucky winners! Prior to joining myself & Tom for the shoot, she asked if it were possible to have a mini-session in her wedding finery again! We of course obliged! Who wouldn't love to get glammed up all over again for some pics!
We arranged for some pics of Laura & her husband James up in the always gorgeous Brooklodge in Wicklow.
We then moved to the local woods in nearby Annacurragh for some more relaxed portraits. These guys were so relaxed and wonderful to shoot. We really enjoyed our time with them and wish them all the best!
