L&E - A Beautiful Intimate wedding in Brooklodge, Co. Wicklow

I loved capturing this day for the girls last month! I was hired to shoot for a couple of hours to capture their gorgeous first look, ceremony and some portraits after. You’d be amazed at how much you can capture in two and a half hours! (For more info on this “civil special” - contact me!)

L&E chose the lovely Brooklodge, Macreddin Village in Aughrim, Co. Wicklow for their special day. We kicked off the coverage with a private first look in the woods before capturing family portraits ahead of the gorgeous outdoor ceremony.

A & J - A Beautiful wedding in Markree Castle.

When I tell you Aisling was one of the happiest brides on her wedding day from start to finish, it is not an understatement! From the minute I walked in to the house that morning back in May, the atmosphere was full of laughter and screams of delight! I had previously captured Aisling’s bridesmaid Michelle’s wedding so it was so good to see her as bridesmaid and catch up as well!

Tom spent the morning with the lads and we later met up at the beautiful venue of Markree Castle for the ceremony and festivities. Weatherwise, it was pretty much a wash out for the day so sadly we didn’t get to make use of the amazing gardens but that didn’t dampen any spirits on the day!

These guys were all about the fun! Tom and I had a blast capturing lots of moments for them! So without further ado, check out some highlights below!

L & K - An intimate Summer wedding in Bray!

I first met L&K last year when L proposed to K in Dublin Zoo during the wild lights festival. It was a nerve wracking experience to say the least! It turned out amazing and so began the 6 months of planning! The girls wanted to keep things low key and get married quietly in Bray with their two witnesses. It was amazing to be there to capture their intimate ceremony before heading down to the Harbour bar (love that place!)

Later that day I joined back up with them as they threw a joint wedding/ 30th birthday party in the Church bar in town! It went off brilliantly and myself and Tom loved capturing it all.

I’m delighted to keep in touch with these two on Instagram and keep up with their everyday adventures.

H & G - A Beautiful Summer shoot in Dublin

When H got in touch with me through Instagram wondering if I would do an extended couple shoot in Dublin City I was super excited! I love shooting in Dublin City and getting the chance to stroll through the city and then out to a nearby park and beach to get a variety of portraits with outfit changes? Yes please!

We had so much fun strolling and chatting over several hours though the city before I drove them out to nearby St Anne’s Park and Dollymount Strand. I love that my job enables me to meet so many fantastic people from all over the world and hear their stores :)

A & R - A day of laughter and happy tears in Clontarf Castle!

A&R came all the way over from Wisconsin to tie the knot in the lovely Clontarf Castle last May! Tom and I had so much fun with them and there closest family members and friends. It was a small wedding of less than fifty people and was beautifully intimate. You could feel the love in the room!

The lads got ready together with friends and there was a couple of whiskeys and laughs had before heading downstairs to say their I do’s. Tom was on hand to help tie the ties and button holes as usual!

The ceremony full of happy tears and laughs and performed beautifully. Katie Hughes provided the beautiful music for the occasion.

Afterwards it was onto the drinks reception while we headed out for a few minutes to take some portraits out front. The lads treated everyone to an epic Game of Thrones themed entrance into dinner to plenty of laughter! There was even som GoT cookies on hand!

Once it was time to ready the dancefloor, we were treated to an unreal performance by an Irish dancing troop which got everyone going before the lads performed their first dance. After this, Tom got in between everyone and got some fantastic shots of everyone busting moves! We didn’t want to leave!!

So here’s to A&R. May they have many more decades celebrating love to come!

J & S - A beautiful Summer Millhouse Wedding

I’ve always been a fan of the Millhouse in Slane. It’s always a warm inviting place to work! Back in November 2017 I photographed John, Sinead and their son down in Glendalough for a lovely family session and was so delighted when they asked me to be their wedding photographer!

In true Millhouse fashion, the day was relaxed and the weather co-operated! Both J&S got ready on the grounds which is always nice as it means no rushing to get to the venue.

The beautiful Spiritualist ceremony was performed by Minister Miriam Fitzgerald who is always lovely to work alongside.

After this it was onto a fab drinks reception outside on the gorgeous grounds of the Millhouse. When we get the weather in Ireland, a drinks reception outside is the best thing ever! Everyone was out enjoying a relaxing in the sun while we whisked the couple off for a few minutes of portraits.

We want to say a huge thanks to Sinead and John for having us there to shoot there day. They were absolutely the nicest people to work with and we wish them so much love for the future!
